Thank you for your interest in joining the alumni association!

We acknowledge that a number of internet chat groups exist to maintain contact between former students and that several countries have regular reunions. Here at Hebron we want to support these initiatives in any way we can.  However, we want to go further.

In launching the association, it was decided to produce two newsletters annually and have  various items of school memorabilia for people to order.  Current newsletters are posted in the news section of the site and are also  available as ‘hard’ copies.  Information on items available for purchase can be viewed in the memorabilia section.  The format for the letters may change from time to time as will the items of memorabilia.

The current list of memorabilia  includes mugs (we currently have one commemorating all our schools), scarves, T-shirts, books, etc.  We welcome any feedback on current items or suggestions for adding to the list.

The Association also seeks ways of promoting the School’s development and reaching out to potential new students and staff. We are mindful that it is not only students who want to be kept in touch with Hebron today but also former staff, IGs and Parents – all are most enthusiastically welcomed!

There is a once-for-all membership fee:

For current students who graduate, an amount of Rs 1,000 is added to their final bill unless they choose to opt out of membership.

For all other students, staff, IGs and former parents  we would encourage you to pay a fee direct to the school (by cheque or draft payable to ‘Hebron School’) in the equivalent currency of your home country. (At present Rs.1,000/- or 15 pounds sterling, US$ 30, Aus$ 35).

Those of you in the U.K. should pay to join via the Sheiling Trust  sheilingtrust@hotmail.com (c/o Peter Streatfeild, The Vicarage, Bassenthwaite, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 4QH, U.K.)  As a charity your donation will go further if you are a UK tax payer.

This fee is being used to cover administration costs, the production of the newsletter, marketing of memorabilia and, in due course, will provide a fund to assist with setting up reunions (although it is expected these will be largely self funding).

 Please do join!

o do so, return the membership form along with your fees to the "Alumni Office" at Hebron School, or to the address above if you are a UK resident.  Ideally, in this first instance we would ask for the form to be returned by registered post with your joining fee.

**Please note if for some reason you feel you cannot pay, we are not making the fee compulsory – you may join simply by returning the form.

We at the  Alumni office look forward to hearing from you and will be happy to answer queries and, most importantly, to receive your news for publication in the newsletter (aimed for August and February annually).

Many thanks,

Ian McCabe

Alumni Secretary
